The "Harvest Edition" set is a perfect little gift for autumn lovers—the fruit and veggie illustrations by Burgoyne are charming without being kitschy. I've already used two of the six and the paper handles my daily pen notes just fine.
The covers are the real draw here—John Burgoyne's illustrations of fall harvest staples look even better in person, with nice detail in the linework. The six-book pack gives me plenty of variety to scribble notes in, and the paper takes ink well.
The vegetable and fruit artwork on each cover is so charming that I almost don't want to write in them, but the paper inside takes a pencil beautifully. These six little books feel like a proper nod to the season, and I've already gifted one to a friend who loves fall as much as I do.
