I've been using these for my latest sketchbook and the way they glide over paper without that waxy build-up is honestly a game-changer for me. They handled the fine details in the Streetscapes edition better than I expected. Each color lays down so smooth and blends beautifully when I need it to.
The color payoff is exactly what I hoped for when I started my Streetscapes pages, and the lead holds its point through a whole block of shading. I’ve already sharpened them down to stubs, which says everything about how much I’m using them.
I’ve been using these to sketch out street scenes in my pocket notebook and the graphite blends so smoothly with the colored cores—no skipping even on cheap paper. The soft lead means I’m sharpening more often, but the rich tones are totally worth it for detailed linework.
